Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. You will play a crucial role in their development, fostering their love for learning while ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly infants and toddlers and possess strong classroom management skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development using the Vermont Early Learning Standards
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Engage children in physical education activities to promote health and wellness.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing individualized support as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- At least 3 college credits or a completed Fundamentals class
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with young children
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
- A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
