Summary:
We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch collaboration of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, the Warehouse Supervisor should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibilities:
Include the following, other duties may be assigned as needed.
Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
Supervise warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with management and other team leads
Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee performance
Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
Perform warehouse associate duties as needed, including but not limited to picking, packing, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
Qualifications and Requirements:
2 years experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a similar role
Knowledge of logistics operations and warehouse procedures and documents
Hands on experience with warehouse inventory management systems
Effective communication skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities
In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
High school diploma
