Job Summary:
We are seeking a Full-Time Construction worker to assist in rehabbing homes. Pay based on experience. Experience preferred but not required. Will provide on-site training. Personal transportation required. Preferred to have some tools, but not required. Must be able bodied and able to lift at least 50 pounds.
We're looking for an assistant to help in remodeling vacant houses. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, with a focus on various skills such as painting, electrical work, restoration, drywall, and more. Ideal applicant must be able to work independently, but also promptly comply on tasks assigned by construction supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Perform light construction tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Assist with electrical work, including wiring and installation of fixtures and outlets
- Restore and repair damaged structures or surfaces
- Install standard home fixtures: toilet, vanity, cabinets, etc.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks such as installing baseboards and molding
- Handle drywall installation and repair
