What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Assistant position at ABC Rentals Special Events?
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to assist with preparing rental orders, maintenance of inventory, and customer service. This role is perfect for someone looking for a steady, part-time position.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with pulling rental orders for weekly orders and deliveries
- Clean, inspect, and prepare inventory for rental orders
- Help assist customers with order requests and contracts by answering the phone, emails, and helping at the front desk
- Assist on event set ups/tear downs as needed
- Keep the showroom and inventory room organized and clean
- Other duties assigned by Management
Who We Are Looking For:
- A motivated individual interested in hands-on event work
- A team player with good customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and move items, up to 50 pounds
- Able to work on your feet for up to 8-10 hours per day
Work and Pay Schedule:
5 days per week Spring-Fall. Some limited hours may be available if desired. This role has the ability to move into a full-time position. This is a great opportunity to gain experience working in the event rental industry and develop skills in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
