Interior Design Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaborating with clients that meet their needs and helping customers in our beautiful showroom.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
• Create presentations and mood boards to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and contracts while ensuring adherence to all specifications.
• Source furniture, fixtures, and materials while negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Oversee the implementation of designs during the remodeling process, ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise during installation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide innovative design solutions.

Requirements

• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interactions and presentations.
• Knowledge of budgeting practices related to interior design projects.
• Experience in lighting design is a plus.
• Previous sales experience is beneficial for client engagement and project acquisition.
• A keen eye for detail with an understanding of space planning and remodeling techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekends as needed
