Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of carpentry techniques and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of carpentry experience, in addition to other trade based skills such as drywall, plumbing, and electrical. With a proven track record in residential or commercial projects.
Ability : To work on steep slopes and in high, precarious places. Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.
Skills : Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
Attention to Detail : A meticulous approach to work, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship.
Physical Stamina : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy materials.
Key Responsibilities :
Framework and Installation : Construct and install frameworks for buildings, including walls, and roofs. Specifically fascia, rafter tails, and more in that scope of work.
Woodwork and Finishing : Execute detailed woodwork, including molding, Interior trim, exterior siding (T111 & Hardie)
Repairs : Perform repairs on existing structures, ensuring safety and durability. Scope of work includes sheetrock patch and texture matching.
Collaboration : Work closely with project managers and others to ensure seamless project execution. Ability to work with minimal oversight.
