What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Assistant Teacher position at ABC's of Learning?
Full time preschool assistant teaching position for immediate start.
Hours: 8am-4pm M-F
We are seeking a highly-motivated assistant teacher to join us.
Montessori certification and/or familiarity with the Montessori curriculum is a PLUS!
General duties would include
- Assisting head teacher in the implementation of our program in accordance with school policies and Montessori philosophy.
- Maintaining a safe, healthy and educational environment for the children.
-Helping students develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education.
-Maintaining cleanliness in the classroom.
- Ability to manage working between 2 classrooms
Requirements for this position :
- CDA or group teacher experience.
- At least two years of experience with young children in a licensed facility.
- Fluency in English
- CPR certified or willing to be certified
