Job Description:
ABC Supply, a nationally established company, is seeking a licensed CDL Driver to advance their career. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of each delivery from start to finish and work in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treat customers with respect and professionalism
- Conduct safe work zones at each job site
- Follow assigned delivery schedules and directives precisely
- Document every step of each delivery using our camera phone system
- Complete thorough load checks before leaving the branch, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Work cooperatively with Delivery Material Handlers to unload materials
- Complete and file logs and government paperwork accurately and on time
- Provide customers with invoices and collect payments on COD deliveries
- May involve warehouse work, including loading and unloading materials
Requirements:
- Valid CDL - Class A or B
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
- Preferred: flatbed truck experience and crane certification
