At ABC Supply, we have YOUR future covered.ABC Supply Co., Inc., is looking for a corporate attorney to join its growing Beloit, Wisconsin-based in-house Legal Department. The successful candidate will report to the Deputy General Counsel or his designee and will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts that support and enable the business.Specific Duties and Responsibilities : Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all manner of commercial contracts, including supply chain agreements, sales agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, settlement agreements, joint check agreements, and lien waivers.Drafting and revising contract templates for use in various transactions, and supporting the improvement of standard form agreements, standard form warranties and legal processes.Providing general legal advice, support, and services to ABC Supply and its subsidiaries and divisions on a broad range of topics and issues.Assisting in the ongoing development of contract management processes and a contract repository.Preparing legal memoranda and researching various legal issues.Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience : Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm and / or corporate legal department.Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in a U.S. state or territory.Minimum Qualifications : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience with drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.Strong presentation skills with the ability to persuade a wide range of audiences.Attention to detail and accuracy.Advanced organizational skills.Ability to work independently and properly prioritize pending tasks.Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects at the same time.An overall positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.Ability to work with a wide range of personality types.Self-motivated and able to work efficiently, both independently and with a team.Preferred Qualifications : Familiarity with Article 2 of the UCC and related matters.Benefits may include : Health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out of pocket401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vestedEmployer paid employee assistance programEmployer paid short term and long-term disabilityEmployer paid life insuranceFlex spendingPaid vacationPaid holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer / Drug Free WorkplaceABC Supply values diversity and we actively encourage women, minorities, and veterans to apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
