ATHLETIC TRAINER - PROFESSIONAL EXPERT
ABC Unified School District High Schools
Temporary Assignment (February 1, 2025 - June 30, 2025)
No Health Benefits / No Holidays
ESSENTIAL DUTIES : Under the general supervision of the school's principal and athletic director, provide comprehensive athletic training services to student-athletes by assessing and treating sports-related injuries; implementing injury prevention programs; coordinating with coaches and medical professionals; maintaining accurate medical records; and educating student-athletes on proper training techniques and injury prevention. Monitor and manage the athletic training facility, including equipment and supplies. Attend athletic events and practices as required to provide immediate care for injured athletes. Assume such other duties as the principal or the district may assign
QUALIFICATIONS :
College-level course work in physical education, athletic training or a related field and one year of experience involving the care, management and prevention of athletic injuries.
Current Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC) from the Board of Certification (BOC) required.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Experience working with secondary school athletes preferred.
