ABC Warehouse is growing our team at our Main Warehouse in Pontiac, Michigan, and is presently seeking reliable, self-motivated, and service-driven individuals who are looking for a dynamic and rewarding role in a warehouse environment as a Midnight Warehouse Recycling Associate!

Our Recycling Associates serve a critical role in our mission to provide that outstanding level of service by ensuring debris, such as cardboard, paper, Styrofoam, etc. is processed. Associates are also responsible for maintaining a clean work environment while processing cardboard, plastic, etc. in our recycling department. If you are energetic, organized, and solution-orientated, we would love to have you as part of our team as a full-time Midnight Warehouse Recycling Associate (11:00pm – 7:30am)!
Warehouse Midnight Recycling Associate Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting ALL garbage, debris, cardboard, paper, Styrofoam, etc.
- Process cardboard using the cardboard bailer
- Process plastic using the plastic bailer
- Collect recycling throughout the distribution center using a forklift and/or Truck/Hand Cart
- Separate recycling before processing
- Following safety rules; maintaining a clean and hazard free work area
- Complete safety training class on all machines
Warehouse Midnight Recycling Associate Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Must be 18 years or older to operate machines
- Ability to make reasonable decisions with a focus on safety
- Personable, positive and friendly attitude.
- Demonstrated dependability and trustworthiness.
- Ability to collaborate with others and work as a team
- Ability to stay productive without constant supervision
- Position requires regularly standing, walking, lifting, and bending
- Position operates in a warehouse environment & routinely uses warehouse equipment such as Hi-Lo’s, bailers, etc. Dress according to the weather.
