Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting school age passengers to various destinations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van or shuttle vehicle to transport school age passengers or to designated locations.
• Ensure timely arrivals and departures while adhering to scheduled routes.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting regular inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize routes and improve service efficiency.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and team members.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle various situations professionally.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations governing vehicle operation.
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps effectively.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; additional certifications for commercial driving may be preferred.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
