Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to oversee our organization's operations. Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising, working with children and families, program management, relationship management, program development, and administrative tasks. This individual will help oversee all requirements creating and maintaining a safe learning environment for children.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise staff to ensure efficient operation of the organization
- Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, families and children.
· Maintain all required documents for Licensing
· Provide program information for potential families
. Maintain ratios within the classrooms – may be required to sub in classrooms.
· Communicate with parents on children's' growth and progress
· Create a FUN and safe learning environment
. Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
-· Minimum of 60 college credit hours with Minimum of 6 semester hours in Child Development or ECE
· Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
· Curriculum development experience
· Classroom management
· Passionate about working with children
· Ability to build rapport with children and parents
· Creativity
· Positive and patient demeanor
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be willing to do DCFS Background check
· Ability to work Monday to Friday (7am to 530pm) (schedule fluctuates)
- Strong understanding of program management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
