Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician or apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in low voltage systems, mechanical knowledge, and a strong understanding of alarm systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including but not limited to Fire alarms, Security alarms, and CCTV
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of wiring and equipment
- Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot issues and ensure system functionality
- Collaborate with construction teams to inspect low voltage installations for compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
Technician
- Proven experience in low voltage systems installation and maintenance a plus
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations a plus
- Strong blueprint reading skills for system implementation a plus
- Knowledge of alarm systems is a plus
Apprentice Qualifications:
- strong work ethic and work well as part of a team
- Ability to operate a computer
- Ability to complete online courses
- Ability operate hand held tools
- Ability to read operation manuals
-Ability to lift 50 lbs.
