Job Summary:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you are directly responsible for driving net-new pipeline for our Sales Team. We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong EQ, and natural sales instincts to join our Team. As the first line of communication with potential customers, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and qualifying prospects. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities to build our sales pipeline through both inbound and outbound efforts
- Outreach directly into prospective customer contacts that fit our ideal persona via cold-calls, text, emails, integrated marketing campaigns, LinkedIn campaigns and other methods
- Articulate our value proposition and objection handle to create qualified opportunities
- Work closely with team members to develop successful prospecting strategies
- Document all activities within our CRM, maintaining flawless data management
- Drive active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create new processes and refine existing processes through innovative thinking
- Become a critical part of our high performing team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of relevant experience with history of strong performance (SDR, Customer Success/Service, Direct Sales)
- Experience using tools like Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms to streamline outreach
- Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills, glass-half-full mentality
- Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve difficult problems without direct supervision, comfortable with ambiguity
- Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively lead client meetings and presentations
- Highly organized; ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
- Prior experience as a Sales Development Representative with a track record of achieving sales quotas
- Prior experience selling in B2B technology, AV services, or events industry preferred
