We are a growing penvironmental services company seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Director of Operations / Office Manager. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who can take full ownership of office operations, oversee field staff, and drive efficiency while working closely with executives.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all office operations, ensuring efficiency in daily workflows, task completion, and internal communications
- Supervise and support office staff while managing field inspectors (30 overall)
- Act as the go-to resource for client inquiries, handling calls and emails related to lead and mold violations, HPD requirements, and local compliance laws
- Dispatch inspectors and ensure correct personnel are assigned to each job
- Manage billing, scheduling, and all administrative responsibilities to free up executive leadership for business development
- Ensure compliance with all local laws, HPD requirements, and industry regulations related to lead and mold violations
- Monitor emails and delegate tasks to ensure deadlines are met and operations run smoothly
- Analyze and implement process improvements to enhance office efficiency and business growth
- Maintain a professional, client-facing approach-handling escalations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with company leadership to develop long-term strategies for company growth in NY & FL
- Take full responsibility for daily office management, ensuring tasks are completed without executive oversight
