We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team! We are family-owned and operated with 20 years in the industry with offices throughout Chicagoland and Central Illinois.

- Pay range $70,000 - $90,000 per year

- Responsibilities
- Oversee and prepare monthly financial statements
- Collect, analyze, and present financial and non-financial data to assist in decision-making
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Manage quarterly and year-end payroll reporting activities
- Lead the Budget process
- Hire, train, and manage members of the payroll and accounting team
- Audit and approve bi-weekly Payroll
- Audit and approve weekly Homecare Accounts Payable
- Lead annual detail budget process
- Manage year end 1099 reporting
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, business, economics or finance
- Minimum of 5-10 years of proven experience in payroll, accounts payable and budgeting
- Experience supervising a team
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles with proficiency in payroll software
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Experience in the healthcare or homecare industry is a plus

The Accounting Manager will oversee the Accounts Payable and Payroll processing. This key role will consult and collaborate with internal and external teams, coordinating processes and requirements to ensure accurate and timely delivery of analysis, business cases and project updates.
