We provide direct consultation to residential care facilities and employ over 40 Behavior Management Assistants, many of whom hold advanced degrees.
Position: Behavior Management Assistant
Job Type: Part-time (with potential for full-time)
Compensation: Starting at $28 per hour (negotiable based on education and experience)
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.60 per mile for all work-related travel

Key Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a licensed psychologist to consult with residential care facilities
- Prepare behavior reports and intervention plans
- Train and support facility staff on behavior strategies
- Attend team meetings and document service provision
- Assist in coordinating patient assessments and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing one) in psychology, behavioral science, social work, counseling, or a related field
- Understanding of behavioral health principles (ABA knowledge preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Experience with Regional Center services is a plus but not required
Preferred Experience
- Prior work with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Writing or implementing behavior support plans
