Software Engineer
Location : Harrisburg, PA (Must be a Pennsylvania resident)
Job Type : Full-time, Hybrid Potential (Must be able to drive into the office)
Salary : $80,000 - $130,000 (Depending on experience)
Summary :
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our software development team based in Harrisburg, PA . The team is responsible for developing and enhancing software for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission , including a client-server application, website, mobile application (Android / iOS), Web API, and a SQL Server database . Our systems are built using a tiered architecture and object-oriented technology, primarily in VB.Net and C# .
Job Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the system’s functional design
- Develop new systems and modules
- Enhance existing components
- Maintain code standards across all software modules
- Work closely with the team to ensure component reusability and system integrity
- Support new and existing production systems
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Perform unit testing
Requirements :
