Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by assessing their insurance needs and recommending suitable coverage options. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a customer-focused mindset, ensuring that clients receive the best possible solutions tailored to their individual requirements. Employee will need to be licensed or get licensed within 2 weeks of hire date.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs through consultations and discussions.
- Present and explain various insurance products, including life, health, auto, and property insurance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach potential clients and promote insurance products effectively.
- Provide ongoing customer service support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and updating policies as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members on sales strategies and administrative tasks related to policy management.
Skills
- Proven experience in insurance sales or related fields such as retail sales or telemarketing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus for handling sensitive client information.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a broader range of customers.
- Knowledge of benefits administration and market analysis to effectively advise clients on their options.
- Experience in outside sales is preferred, demonstrating the ability to work independently in various environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear client interactions and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing client accounts and documentation.
