Position Description :
All IT Audit Senior Associates are expected to achieve a basic understanding of enterprise information technology in a business environment (Examples : server environment, mainframes, virtualization (including risks associated with virtualization), common operating systems, and applications. A Senior Associate's primary function is to develop develop policies and procedures, execute controls testing, and perform walk-throughs, while making strong connections between guidance and a client's specific environment and industry.
Senior Associates have the technical knowledge and experience to work independently in delivering the growth mindset experience to our Cyber clients. Senior Associates must have strong project management and communication skills.
Position Requirements :
- Experience with secure software development lifecycle, cloud infrastructure, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171as well as local, state and federal privacy regulations
- Strong knowledge of information security
- Advanced understanding of infrastructure and data flow diagrams
- Experience in detailed process documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or closely related technical degree program.
- One (1) to three (3) years' experience in IT auditing or consulting, demonstrating a progression in complexity and number of projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to communicate technical details to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to independently perform walk-throughs with clients; and communicate current project status to various stakeholders, including issues and next day plan
