Work with Service Advisors: You will work closely with Service Advisors to develop repair orders and ensure that customers receive accurate and timely estimates. This will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and communicate with customers.
Perform Vehicle Repairs and Maintenance: You will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and guidelines. This will involve staying up-to-date with the latest technical information and techniques and utilizing various tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
Road-Test Vehicles: After completing repairs, you will be responsible for road-testing vehicles to ensure that problems are resolved and the vehicle is safe for customers to drive. This will involve driving vehicles on public roads to test performance and identifying any remaining issues.
Continuous Learning: To stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly changing automotive industry, you will be required to continuously learn new technical information and techniques from more senior technicians as well as in formal training sessions. This will enable you to maintain your technical expertise and provide high-quality service to customers.
