About the Role
The Product Operations Specialist – Performance Insights & Tooling is a proactive role focused on optimising workflows, integrating tools, and delivering insights that enhance performance and decision-making. In this role, you will take ownership of performance reporting, designing and maintaining repeatable reporting frameworks that evolve over time to provide deeper insights. Your efforts will contribute to automating processes, consolidating data sources, and improving visibility, empowering teams to focus on delivery and maximise impact. You will play a key role in supporting continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and will stay current with industry trends to enhance reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Reporting: Design, build, and maintain consistent and repeatable reporting frameworks using Power BI to support performance monitoring and operational improvement.
Data Integration & Optimisation: Streamline workflows, automate processes, and integrate data sources to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Data Visualisation & Insights: Use data modelling and visualisation techniques to create impactful dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights.
Automation & Tools: Implement automation tools and data pipelines to reduce manual effort, enhance data quality, and ensure efficient reporting.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work with cross-functional teams to align tools and insights with business goals, enabling teams to make informed decisions.
Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement, evaluate current processes, and implement scalable solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Data Storytelling: Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
Process & Framework Enhancement: Continuously enhance reporting frameworks and processes to deliver deeper insights and increase visibility into performance and trends.
Essential Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Workflow Optimisation & Automation: Ability to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate processes, and enhance performance monitoring capabilities.
Power BI Expertise: Proven experience designing and maintaining performance reporting frameworks using Power BI to track and report on performance metrics.
Data Modelling & Visualisation: Strong proficiency in data modelling and visualisation techniques to create clear, impactful dashboards and reports.
Data Integration & Automation: Practical experience with APIs, ETL processes, and automation tools to support seamless data integration and workflow optimisation.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills to evaluate processes, identify gaps, and implement scalable solutions that enhance performance.
Continuous Improvement: A commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to refine reporting frameworks and processes over time to provide deeper insights and greater visibility.
Performance Reporting Frameworks: Hands-on experience designing and delivering performance reporting frameworks using Power BI to track trends and key performance metrics.
Data Analysis & Insights: Proven ability to analyse large datasets, extract insights, and track performance trends to inform decision-making.
