Our expertise serves industries like oil and gas, rigging and recovery, power generation, construction, manufacturing, and process and pipeline. We are trusted for engineering solutions and are known for designing and fabricating custom hydraulic power units, hydraulic valve actuators, and hydraulic winch packages.

The job of a Hose Technician is to use all the tools and equipment necessary to assembly and test hose assemblies to meet customer's specifications. A Hose Technician is responsible for accurately selecting correct raw materials, cutting hose to proper length, crimping the specified fittings in their proper orientation, cleaning and testing all to customer specifications. They are also responsible for maintaining warehouse inventory and shipping and receiving duties. On occasion, they may be required to work overtime to complete a job on time or other duties, as the company requires.

Requirements

Safety

This position is classified as a safety-sensitive job. The safety and well-being of our employees and customers are of utmost importance. Candidates must be able to perform their duties without impairment and comply with all safety protocols and procedures.

Work Environment

The employee occasionally will work in heat (weather); this position functions within a normal warehouse environment.

Physical Demands

The employee will occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch; the employee will regularly Stand; Walk; Use hands, fingers, to handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk or hear; Must possess good physical dexterity and have the ability to perform manual tasks and body movement.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision; Distance vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception; Ability to adjust focus;

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be on their feet for 8 hours or more.

The employee is required to lift up to 80 pounds.

Tasks

Pull raw materials hose and fittings in the quantities specified in the work order.

Operate lifting equipment (i.e. forklift).

Operate tag machines

Operate the hose saws.

Operate the crimping machines.

Use power tools.

Clean (pig) hoses.

Test hoses (hydrostatic)

Cap Hose ends.

Package hoses for shipment.

Maintain traceability and records on quality forms and or work orders.

Clean and maintain work area.
