Aberdeen Golf & Country Club, a distinguished private club located in Boynton Beach in the heart of Palm Beach County, Florida is seeking a Front Desk Reception/Reservationist who will be the first point of contact with our club members and their guests. The successful Front Desk Reception/Reservationist will possess exceptional customer service and people skills, be a detail oriented individual who listens well and is able to anticipate the needs of others in order to provide an exceptional member experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- As an ambassador of the organization the Front Desk Reception/Reservationist greets members and their guests warmly and makes them feel welcome.
- Assists members in a branded, friendly, proactive and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
- Answer phone and email inquiries from club members in a timely and respectful manner.
- Offer club activities and dining room information and assist members in making their reservations.
- Receive and redirect mail, phone calls, packages, manage office supplies orders, etc.
- Versed in working wtih the Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher.
- Support the membership, events and administration departments with projects and administrative tasks.
- Act as a liaison between members and the club’s departments.
- Anticipate members needs in order to accommodate them and provide an exceptional member experience.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed.
Qualifications Include:
- 1 years of previous customer/member service experience
- Positive phone demeanor and superior written and verbal communication skills is essential
- Must have a service-oriented mindset and be capable of making every member feel valued
- Knowledge of basic office equipment, including printers, scanners, copiers, etc
- Exemplify strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Competent working with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Possess a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team
- Ability to speak a second language is an asset
- Flexible work schedule across the seven day work week
