Hours:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
DESCRIPTION:
Assisting the technology staff in completing large projects necessary for the preparation for the following school year. Tasks for summer of 2023 include getting ATEC technology ready to go for the following school year. Building FarmBot systems, networking cameras, setting up media components. Other duties as assigned by the technology director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Cleaning devices
- Simple hookups
- Pulling Network or other cables
- Complete repetitive tasks
- Following Manual and Video Style Directions
- Navigate multiple devices including – PC’s, IPads, Android Devices
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology or other administrative supervisor.
Experience Desired:
Experience with network cabling a plus but not necessary. Ability to type and navigate computer programs needed. Will train qualified candidates.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work 8 to 9 hour shifts on his/her feet. Ability to climb ladders. Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally required to lift up to 70 pounds and carry for a distance of 50 feet and stack 4 feet high. Walk stairs unaided in a multilevel facility. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel. Must be able to read and understand labels and schedules. Requires working in all conditions which may contain dust.
Other Requirements:
Must have excellent communication (oral and written) and good interpersonal and positive human relations skills. Ability to work alone and be self-motivated. Must have a valid South Dakota driver’s license.

Employment is contingent upon a Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance, paid for by the applicant.
