Attorney
Abeyta Nelson Injury Law, central Washington’s oldest and most successful personal injury law firm, is seeking to add an attorney to our team. We are growing and looking for a lawyer who wants to join a winning law firm, a friendly office atmosphere, and the opportunity to advance. Applicants must be licensed to practice in Washington. Applicant must have the ability to work effectively on a team, have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a desire to represent individuals and families who need help. This position requires residence in Yakima.
We offer a competitive salary between $80,000-$125,000, depending on experience, with potential for production-based bonuses; a retirement plan funded by the firm ranging from 5-10% of annual salary (doesn’t require employee match); sick/vacation leave, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; and good mentoring from experienced partners. Experience in PI law is helpful but not required. Yakima offers reasonably-priced homes, four seasons, proximity to mountains, no traffic jams, few lines, and an expanding restaurant and entertainment scene.
Attorney responsibilities and job duties include delegated tasks and assignments from partners; legal research and drafting pleadings, briefs, motions, memoranda, and other documents; drafting and reviewing written discovery including e-discovery; drafting, responding to, and arguing motions; preparing for, taking, and defending depositions; and preparing for and appearing in arbitrations, mediations, and court.

Office Manager
We are seeking a personable, dynamic, and highly organized office manager to manage staff and daily operations. As a key member of our leadership team, the office manager will oversee administration to ensure the firm operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service. This role requires a proactive leader with strong management skills and a passion for delivering excellent client service. The office manager will work closely with our attorneys, bookkeeper, and marketing consultant.
Required skills include strong leadership, good work ethic, ability to prioritize, clear communication, attention to detail, and computer/tech knowledge. Law firm experience and knowledge of personal injury case management and legal software is a plus.
Excellent benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and retirement plan. Paid vacation and holidays, as well as a potential performance bonus are included. Friday afternoons off. We offer a competitive salary between $55,000-$75,000, depending on experience.
