About the Role
The Data Engineer at Tides will be pivotal in ensuring seamless data flow across various sources to storage and analysis systems, thereby enabling informed decision-making and operational efficiency. This role involves designing, developing, and managing data integration solutions to harness data as a strategic asset, ultimately driving innovation and efficiency within the organization.
What you will Do
- Design & Development : Create and implement data integration solutions using a range of tools and technologies.
- Collaboration : Work with business units and Data Architects to define data requirements and create technical specifications. Partner with teams on data-centric projects and document integration processes and procedures in line with organizational standards.
- Data Analysis : Analyze data to identify patterns and relationships crucial for integration. Maintain security of confidential and proprietary information.
- Integration Jobs : Develop jobs that interact with APIs or SFTP sites.
- ETL Processes : Design and manage ETL (extract, transform, load) processes to consolidate data into a centralized repository.
- Tool Maintenance : Configure and maintain data integration tools and platforms.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Oversee data integration jobs and resolve issues as they arise.
- Optimization : Enhance integration processes for better performance and scalability.
- Innovation : Stay updated on new technologies and methodologies in data integration.

Salary : $114,400 - $143,000
