ABGI Talent Solutions is seeking a Tax Manager on behalf of a respected public accounting firm. This role is ideal for a CPA with at least four years of public accounting experience, specializing in private clients, high-net-worth individuals, estates, trusts, and partnerships.
About the Role:
This position involves managing complex tax engagements, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. You will collaborate with firm leadership while providing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tax returns for partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations, and trusts.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies based on client needs.
- Manage client relationships, assess tax risks, and consult on business strategies.
- Oversee staff assignments, project timelines, and deliverables.
- Prepare and review client invoices while managing engagement efficiency.
- Provide mentorship, training, and supervision for tax staff and administrative teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- CPA license required.
- At least four years of tax experience in public accounting.
- Experience in corporate, partnership, and trust tax compliance and planning.
- Strong ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks, BNA Tax Planner, and CaseWare is a plus.
