This is a prime opportunity for a seasoned CPA with a strong background in private client services, including high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, estates, and trusts. The position offers a primarily onsite role with flexibility and potential relocation assistance for the right candidate.
About the Role:
This leadership position involves managing complex tax engagements, overseeing a small team, and working closely with firm leadership. You will provide high-level tax compliance, planning, and advisory services while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tax returns for partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations, trusts, and estates.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and private clients.
- Lead and mentor a small team of tax professionals.
- Manage client relationships, assess tax risks, and provide strategic consulting.
- Oversee staff assignments, project timelines, and deliverables.
- Prepare and review client invoices while ensuring efficient engagement management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- CPA license required.
- At least six years of tax experience in a public accounting firm.
- Expertise in corporate, partnership, and trust tax compliance and planning.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and team management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
- Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks, BNA Tax Planner, and CaseWare is a plus.
