Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system. The ideal candidate will track and document all stock movements, conduct regular audits and reconciliations, minimize discrepancies, and support smooth supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Pull parts in a timely manner, ensuring planning, safety, and efficiency.
- Complete daily checklists, including pivot inventory, low stock, concerns, and issues.
- Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Check in materials, screws, and parts, verifying counts and part numbers.
- Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to align with production demands.
- Allocate labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet production schedules.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and regulations in the production area.
- Inform upstream if parts are low in a specific warehouse.
- Prepare and maintain detailed production reports and records for decision-making and analysis.
- Perform routine audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
- Scan and work with SAGE Software.
- Minimum of 2 years of inventory experience.
- Proven experience operating forklifts (sit-down and stand-up).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
- Efficiency in pulling or organizing parts.
- Understanding of reorder points.
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- Standing for the entire shift.
- Manual dexterity.
