General Description
The Patient Account Representative will be responsible for handling patient billing and balance phone inquiries in a timely manner.
Tasks & Responsibilities

Essential Duties
-
Effectively manage incoming billing inquires and assist client with live questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Analyze transaction information to identify refunds, delinquent accounts, and sufficient payments.
- Prepare and disburse patient financial statements
- Review all past-due accounts and track their payment progress
- Resolve issues with delinquent accounts through contacting and working with the patient
- Update patient account information as needed to ensure accuracy
- Keep record of patient interaction in patients’ charts
- Identify and issue patient credits where needed

Assists and covers other staff when necessary to maintain high productivity and efficiency in the department.
- As the company continues to grow, additional responsibilities that are essential for the department to be successful will be assigned accordingly.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Experience in medical field is highly desirable.
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
