Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong experience in robotics, CNC machinery, and automated production systems. You’ll play a key role in maintaining uptime, improving reliability, and ensuring our equipment runs at peak performance. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of electromechanical systems including robotics, CNC equipment, conveyors, and automated assembly lines.
- Provide maintenance support on all machines.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address recurring issues and drive improvements.
- Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
- Install, calibrate, and upgrade equipment as needed.
- Maintain logs, service records, and parts inventory to ensure timely repairs and compliance.
- Uphold and promote safety practices and a clean work environment in all tasks.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in window or building products.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience working with robotics (FANUC, ABB, or similar) and CNC machines (GED, Erdman).
- Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, actuators, and machine alignment.
- Comfortable working around production machinery and in industrial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
