Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting materials to specified dimensions, ensuring quality and precision in all tasks. This role requires attention to detail, a solid understanding of various cutting tools and techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.
Duties
- Operate hand tools and machinery to cut materials according to specifications.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on cutting equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience with hand tools and CNC machinery is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Previous experience in a fabrication environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of CAD software for interpreting designs is beneficial.
