Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including inpatient and outpatient care, and will be comfortable working in environments such as clinics, teaching hospitals, and trauma centers. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients, particularly those in geriatrics or requiring specialized care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities to enhance their independence.
• Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
• Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in various settings, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in caregiving.

Skills

• Experience in inpatient care, outpatient services, or emergency medicine is preferred.
• Familiarity with working in a clinic or teaching hospital environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of geriatric care principles and practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work compassionately with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of need.
• Proficiency in basic medical terminology related to trauma care and patient management.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care while maintaining client dignity and respect.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
