Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including home health, assisted living, and group homes. Your primary focus will be to enhance the quality of life for those you care for by assisting with daily activities and promoting independence.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
• Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with home health care practices and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
