Position Overview
As an Oracle PL/SQL Backend Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining back-end software in Oracle PL/SQL. You will collaborate with senior developers and internal teams, participate in requirements analysis, and provide ongoing production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers to produce high-quality software.
- Participate in requirements analysis and interpret business requirement documents.
- Write clean, scalable, and functional code; perform unit testing; prepare applications for deployment to production.
- Fix defects in legacy code and improve existing software.
- Work with source control on multiple simultaneous branches.
- Provide third-tier support to the help desk on assigned weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proven expert-level experience as a PL/SQL Application Developer using Toad and SQL Plus.
- Ability to create views, packages, functions, and stored procedures in PL/SQL.
- Proficient in working with collections and asynchronous processes.
- Ability to interpret execution plans and optimize queries/functions.
- Experience in creating complex DML and debugging as needed.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
