Experience: 5-7 years of experience in design, development, maintenance and support of Oracle PL/SQL applications; Experience in data modeling, enhancing the existing packages, troubleshooting and performance tuning of PL/SQL applications is required; Experience with Retail industries is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or software engineering from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Other Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities
- Strong knowledge Oracle database architecture, data model design and experience in implementing custom application using PL/SQL and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of Data Loader, database objects like Package, Procedure, functions, trigger, index, partitioning, locks, error handling.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented PL/SQL programming experience
- Strong knowledge of oracle System Packages like UTL_FILE, UTL_HTTP, etc. and exchange the data with third party systems.
- Experience in automating the software builds, test executions and deployments
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and Agile process
- Good knowledge of Oracle performance SQL tuning and optimization, analytical and date functions, advanced Queues, DBMS jobs and materialized views.
- Hands on experience with Git, Gitlab/Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, SVN and Jenkins/Bamboo
- Strong knowledge of writing automated unit tests is preferred
- Familiarity in creating Rest APIs, SOAP APIs in Oracle Environment to provide access to various data sets.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX commands and shell scripting.
- Basic understanding of Java and python is plus.
- Ability to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction is preferred
- Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and to work with a distributed team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to use proven problem-solving approaches to most solutions
