About the Position:
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Steward to join our team at Abigail Kirsch. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a stewarding department, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. You will oversee kitchen equipment maintenance, cleaning supplies, uniforms, linen, kitchen supplies, and small wares. Additionally, you will be responsible for inventory management, purchasing, and storage of direct operating supplies and tabletop items.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and evaluate staff
- Implement and maintain department SOP's
- Manage inventory and ordering of direct operating supplies and tabletop items
- Oversee big 4 and buffet tabletop equipment maintenance, inventories, and purchase needs
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience managing a stewarding department or equivalent in similar business
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with staff, management, clients, and vendors
- Knowledge of Excel and Word required, with ability to problem solve and multitask
