Position: Family and Business Executive Assistant
Location: Salem, Utah (with occasional travel to Springville, Saratoga Springs, and surrounding areas using family vehicles)
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:20 AM – 4:20 PM; Friday, 7:20 AM – 1:20 PM (approximately 8 hours/day average), with a ½–1-hour unpaid lunch
Pay: $17/hour
Duration: 5–12 months, potential to extend to 24 months and more
Start Date: Immediately (Market Manager duties begin last week of May 2025)
About Us: We're Allen and Martha Levie, entrepreneurs balancing family life with running Abigail’s Oven, a sourdough bakery, and launching the Center for Social Change (CSC), a dynamic organization promoting meaningful societal improvements. We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive individual to join us as a Market Manager, Executive Assistant & Seminar Guru, primarily assisting our family and businesses while growing into roles that match your strengths and interests.
Role Overview: Your primary role will be as our personal and executive assistant, supporting family logistics, household management, and assisting in market management and class teaching responsibilities as these ramp up.
Responsibilities:
Personal/Executive Assistant:
- Chauffeur children to/from schools in Saratoga Springs and Salem, using our vehicles.
- Plan, shop, and prepare healthy meals with fresh ingredients, managing budgets and menus.
- Develop and implement efficient household cleaning and organizational systems, leveraging AI tools.
- Provide occasional childcare, engaging positively with our younger children and grandchildren.
Market Manager Assistance (beginning late May 2025):
- Support our existing Farmer’s Market operations, including logistical coordination, inventory management, and team scheduling.
- Assist in maintaining excellent customer experiences, promoting brand presence, and improving operational systems at various Utah farmers’ markets.
Class Teaching Assistance:
- Occasionally assist with sourdough baking classes or social change seminars, supporting setup, registration, and participant engagement.
- Help enhance seminar effectiveness through administrative support and participant interaction.
Qualifications:
- Proactive and Independent: Comfortable taking initiative, problem-solving, and experience creating systems without constant supervision.
- Adaptable Learner: Willingness to learn diverse tasks, from household management to market operations, using online resources and AI tools.
- Organized and Efficient: Strong organizational skills for managing schedules, experience cooking and cleaning, and occasional event logistics.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, patient, and communicative with children and adults; experience or interest in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a plus. We’ll be going there.
- Reliable Driver: Safe driving record and comfort navigating Utah roads.
