What are the responsibilities and job description for the DGR Assistant position at Abilene Goodwill Industries?
Provide support to Vice President of Donated Goods and Retail including coordinating salvage process; tracking shipping and receiving for DSU; and providing sales and production reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
· High School or equivalent required
· Some College preferred
QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIFIC SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
· Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information
· Ability to positively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization
· Ability to operate a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word , Excel, PowerPoint, Online calendar, outlook, etc.
· Ability to produce quality documents paying great attention to detail, proofing, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
· Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record

· Organize mail, files and paperwork (E)
· Maintain filing system and ensure documents are secure (E)
· Schedule meetings/appointments as requested by supervisor (E)
· Assist with Goodwill activities, events and special projects.
· Receive and make calls as appropriate (E)
· Take Minutes, edit, ensure accuracy and distribute appropriately (E)
· Develop and produce general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, etc. (E)
· Assist Vice President of Donated Goods and Retail and coordinate programs as requested (E)
· Communicate appropriately and positively with co-workers and others (E)
· Ensure documents are signed and collected as appropriate (E)
· Enter data and maintain records as requested (E)
· Provide reports as needed to Vice President of Donated Goods and Retail (E)
· Some travel may be required or occasional weekends
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
