Abilene High School is seeking an advisor for their Student Council advisor. This is a supplemental position whose duties historically have include (but are not limited to)....
__teaching and modeling the core values of coooperation, respect, persverance, accountability, and integrity through participation in this activity.
__holding election of offiicers and class representatives.
__coordinating student interactions with local community/civic groups (Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, etc...)
__organizing and overseeing homecoming week activities, queen candidate selection/voting, homecoming ceremony, and dance.
__serve on and help orangize student representatives to building site council.
__organize and oversee school dances in addition to homecoming such as Back to School and Sadies.
__organize and oversee extreme volleyball and powder puff activities during Cowboy Joe week.
__organize and advise students on creating themes for student body sectin at events.
