What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Artist Entry Level position at Abilene Housing Authority?
The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for print editorial design, typography and photography. This position will work directly with the leader of the creative department. It is a full-time salaried position with great medical, dental, and vision insurance plans offered, as well as company paid life insurance.
Responsibilities
Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
Produce drafts for client review and make revisions based on feedback received
Review final products for errors before printing/publishing & ensure they reflect client specifications
Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies
Ensure projects are completed with high quality, efficiency, and on schedule
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
Qualifications
Ideally a Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
1-2 years of experience in graphic design
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
Strong analytical skills
Excellent eye for detail
Salary : $30 - $40
