Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Aide to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education, with some experience working with children ages birth to five years old.
Duties
- Provide attentive care and supervision in a daycare or private school setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among children.
- Educate children through play-based learning activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects the diverse backgrounds and abilities of all children.
- Support classroom teachers with children and other classroom duties such as cleaning, lesson plans, behavior support, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in daycare or educational settings is essential.
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with children who have disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
- Skills in lesson planning and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to create a supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and growth.
