What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head 7th Grade Volleyball Coach position at Abilene Middle School?
Abilene Middle School in Abilene, KS is seeking a Head 7th Grade Volleyball coach for upcoming 2025-26 school year.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Teaching the fundamental physical skills of the sport
2. Helping players make consistent improvement individually & as a team.
3. Collaboration with the Head 8th grade coach and HS coach to ensure
alignment between programs and terminology is consistent.
4. Organizing and collaborating with other middle school coaches on
creating highly organized and engaging practices.
5. Communicating expectations and pertinent informaton with players and
parents.
6. Overseeing the assistant coach on staff.
7. Showing passion and desire to build a program that is aligned from 3rd-
12th grade.
8. Living out and instilling our core values (commitment, effort, and
teamwork) with each individual and the entire team.
9. Be a team player that values and wants to help build the Abilene
Volleyball program.
