Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Teacher Aide to join our team in New Windsor, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Classroom Teacher and Teaching Assistant in implementing students' IEP goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend to the educational, physical, social, and emotional needs of students
Assist in the implementation of IEP goals and objectives
Conduct individual and group activities in the classroom
Organize student workstations and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment
Escorting students to and from school buses and provide opportunities for increased independence in mobility and orientation
Participate in staff meetings and job skill training
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
