Part Time Teacher (4 Hour Shifts)

Position Summary:

Work as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide quality preschool & early school age education, support and care for a small group of children enrolled in our Autism Learning center and/or Early Childhood Learning Center.

• Plans and implements educational and social emotional activities that support the growth and education of the children.
• Communicates with teachers, therapists, supervisors and parents to develop a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
• Provides a safe and supportive learning environment designed for each child’s unique needs, goals and giftedness.

Requirements:

• Must enjoy seeing every child succeed including children with Autism and differing abilities.
• Experience working in a childcare/education setting preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and background check
• Must maintain a safe, clean and tidy classroom conducive to age-appropriate learning and growing.
• Willing to be trained to use specific therapeutic and teaching strategies focused on social, behavioral, communication and language, play, gross motor, fine motor, sensory and self-care and regulation.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday – No nights, weekends or holidays.
• 6:30am – 10:30am

And/Or

• 2pm – 6pm

Education:

• High school or equivalent
• Associates degree (preferred)

Ability to commute:

• Must have reliable transportation
• This is an in-person/on-site role located in Middletown, OH 45044

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
