As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll be a mentor, a guide, and a positive force in someone’s journey toward personal success.
Location: Danbury, CT
Hours: Day and evening. One weekend day availability is a must.
Pay Rate: $19.00–$19.50/hour
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to adults with diverse mental health and behavioral needs
- Assist with daily living activities, including taking medications, cooking, cleaning, volunteering, socializing, and being creative!
- Facilitate appointments, ensuring the utmost attention to each individual’s needs
- Inspire community engagement through activities like work, volunteering, and events (e.g., Special Olympics)
- Foster positive behavior, socialization skills, and goal achievement
- Maintain thorough documentation for individualized plans and progress
- Collaborate with nurses, behaviorists, and nutritionists to deliver individualized care

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required
- Willingness to learn—no experience needed!
