Location: Danbury
Shifts Available: 2nd shift/evening positions (Thursday-Saturday)
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma & Valid Driver's License
Pay Rate: $20.50 / hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide enhanced support across designated young adult programs, working with individuals with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities.
- Foster independent living skills through hands-on support, including cooking, cleaning, and daily activities.
- Encourage community engagement by assisting individuals with outings, social events, and recreational activities.
- Support individuals in part-time/full-time employment and/or schooling by helping develop time management and self-sufficiency skills.
- Serve as a positive role model, reinforcing appropriate behaviors and social skills.
- Assist with transportation for appointments, employment, and social activities.
- Complete daily case notes and maintain accurate documentation of individuals' progress.

- We are looking for individuals who can provide support and mentorship to young adults working toward greater independence.
- These programs serve young adults in their 20s who are actively engaged in their communities, jobs, and/or school while building life skills for more independent living.
- Individuals in these programs have a variety of interests, including shopping, self-care, gaming, outdoor activities, cooking, and socializing.
- Staff provide 24/7 support, fostering a structured yet engaging environment where individuals can develop confidence and essential life skills.
- The ideal candidate is someone who is patient, reliable, and enjoys engaging in activities that promote growth, independence, and socialization.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Willingness to learn, 1 year of experience preferred.
