The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serves as the Clinical Supervisor for the ABA services. The BCBA’s skills are used to conduct functional behavior assessments and produce function-based treatment. As a primary function, the BCBA is responsible for the training & supervision of direct care staff to ensure effective implementation of the behavior plan. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for adhering to professional, ethical, and legal requirements while maintaining work supported by the principles and functions of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete initial assessments and behavior support plan in a timely manner.
- Collect and oversee the collection of data pertaining to assessment and treatment planning.
- Maintain contact and appropriate follow-up with client families.
- Create a schedule for the Behavior Technician to provide direct care in the home.
- Supervise and train the Behavior Technicians in the home to ensure the accurate service delivery.
- Enter and maintain weekly schedule and complete treatment notes in a timely manner.
- Attend clinical meetings.
- Maintain accurate client records.
- Assist with case audits and general administrative tasks where assigned.
- Carry an active caseload of eight (8) clients.
- Provide case oversight and supervision at a rate of 20% of the technician hours per client.
- Provide individual and / or group parent training and support 2 hours monthly with each client.
- Present at clinical review team meetings.
- Attend Continuing Education Events.
- Participate in staff development trainings.
- Manage your caseload by leading your team and supporting your clients and teammates.
- Maintain 25 billable hours per week.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education / Certification / Licenses
Master’s Degree in Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis, or closely related field.
Board certification as an Applied Behavior Analyst.
Skills And Experience
2 years of clinical ABA experience with children, adolescents and young adults. Experience complying with and / or creating detailed treatment plans.

Must be a timely problem solver. Propensity to self-starting in career and skill development and inspiring this in others. Must have excellent time management skills and be able to communicate and instill this in others. Natural collaborator. Identify the need for and adapt to changes in strategies on a proactive basis as well as those responsive to direction from managerial staff.
Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license required. Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirement or receive an approved exemption. Must be able to safely physically lift at least 25 pounds. Active CPR certification required.
